
So probably not the brightest idea to do Nancy since I’ve never really done overhead squats. I guess there’s a first time for everything! meh!
Warm Up
400m (treadmill 7.0)
30 back extensions
5x OHS bar only
5x OHS 65#
5x OHS 75#
It was clear that over head squats were going to be rough and a lot harder than I expected. I think balancing the bar and relaxing enough while keeping my breathing and form right was really hard.

About this workout, I am not super proud of the results. I wanted to just feel like I beasted on it but I felt weak and awkward because it was my first time doing the movement. Per Master Luca, I should definitely work on the movement more before I just jump into the cold water and do a full WOD. Point taken. Definitely want to work on my running WODs and I will incorporate some OHS with them or do a mini metcon. Still glad I completed it and it wasn’t easy which means that I’m constantly challenging myself.
